About Guidara

Guidara is a supervision platform designed for structured, compliant clinical supervision. We built it to replace the scattered tools and manual processes that supervisors and supervisees rely on today: spreadsheets, email chains, paper logs, and shared drives, etc. Everything lives in one secure, organized workspace.

Why We Built Guidara

Supervision isn't scheduling. It requires documentation structure, accountability, and clarity. Most supervisors manage this with a patchwork of tools that were never designed for the job. Hours get lost. Approvals lag. Records are hard to find when a licensing board comes asking years later.

We built Guidara because supervisors and supervisees deserve better tooling, designed for how clinical supervision actually works.

Clinical Supervision Expertise at the Core

Guidara is co-founded by a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) approved to supervise in three states, actively supervising and engaged in clinical work today. The frustrations that led to Guidara aren't theoretical. They come from years of juggling spreadsheets, chasing signatures, and trying to keep supervision records organized across multiple supervisees.

That clinical perspective shapes every decision we make. When we build something, it's because a practicing supervisor needed it. When we skip something, it's because it wouldn't actually help in a real supervision workflow. Guidara isn't built from the outside looking in.

Who We Built This For

We built Guidara for clinical supervisors and the post-master's clinicians they supervise. The platform is designed around that relationship. Supervisors document meetings, track hours, and sign off on records. Supervisees co-sign, monitor their progress, and keep verified documentation for licensure. Neither side works in isolation, because supervision doesn't work that way either.
